The wives of the commissioners in the Dr Agbu Kefas' led state government paid a courtesy visit on the commissioner of Social Justice and Reintegration. Dr. Mrs. Filister Irarimam Musa in her office in Jalingo.
Receiving the women, Dr Filister appreciated them for the initiative which she described as welcoming and urged them to join hands with their husbands to move Taraba State forward.
The commissioner stressed that a lot is needed to be done within the women folks to achieve much. She also stated that the visit signified the beginning of new things for the state.
She promised to provide them with the necessary support to achieving the set goals in line with the governor's mandate and charged them to support, advised and encouraged their husbands to enable them deliver tasks reposed on them in the moving forward agenda of repositioning the state.
Earlier in her speech, the leader of the delegation, Mrs. Jummai Nicholas Oliver Namessan, the wife of the Honourable Commissioner of Agriculture and Food Security, appreciated Mrs Filister for her time and the warm reception accorded them while congratulating His Excellency on his victory at the appeal court.
Mrs. Nicholas further appreciated His Excellency Dr. Agbu Kefas for honouring their husbands and the women with the positions they are occupying, stressing that without their husbands, they would also not be there.
She affirmed their readiness to partner with her ministry in all her activities to move the state forward.
