The Taraba Head of Civil Service, Dr. Hamidu Ahmed Kara has alerted the public to fake job syndicates in the state
The Taraba State Government has raised alarm over the activities of fraudulent syndicates allegedly offering fake job placements into the State and Local Government Civil Services in exchange for money.
In a statement signed by the Head of Civil Service, Dr. Hamidu Ahmed Kara, the government condemned the actions of these impostors and warned them to desist immediately.
Kara emphasized that there is currently an official embargo on employment within the Taraba State Civil Service.
He advised the public to disregard any job offers at this time, assuring that an official announcement will be made whenever the employment embargo is lifted.
He cautioned that any civil servant found to be involved in issuing fake employment letters or extorting money from unsuspecting members of the public will face serious disciplinary action in accordance with the law.
The government also urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities related to fake employment offers.
