Governor Agbu Kefas has made cash donations to various Islamic groups to ensure a successful Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
The governor, who was represented by his Special Adviser on Muslim Affairs, Hussaini Ismaila, emphasized that he deemed it necessary to assist the Muslim community during this festive period.
He urged them to continue praying for his administration to succeed in its efforts to build a peaceful and prosperous Taraba State.
Among the beneficiaries of the cash donations were Islamic organizations and families of late Islamic scholars. Additionally, the governor has sponsored medical bills for ailing Islamic scholars, further demonstrating his dedication to supporting religious leaders.
This act of generosity aligns with his commitment to ensuring the welfare of the Muslim community in the state.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Mallam Aliyu Lamido Gora commended Governor Kefas for prioritizing the well-being of Muslims in Taraba State. He also assured the governor of their continued support and prayers for his success.
