Chairman Bali Local Government Area of Taraba state, Aboki Dauda Dakka has presented the 2025 budget, totaling over 6.7 billion naira, to the legislative council.
The budget is divided into recurrent and capital expenditures, with the largest portion allocated to personnel costs (35%), amounting to 2.37 billion naira. Capital expenditures follow at 30%, with 2.03 billion naira set aside.
Other expenses include overhead costs (20%), reserve funds (10%), and internal debts (5%).
Dakka highlighted that personnel costs reflect the new management policy, which includes the implementation of a new minimum wage, staff promotions, and annual increments.
He emphasized the importance of capital projects, which his administration is focused on initiating and completing.
The budget reflects his commitment to improving infrastructure, education, healthcare, and economic empowerment in Bali.
The budget presentation was attended by traditional rulers, directors, and local government staff.
The leader of the legislative council, Emmanuel Saleh, called the budget timely, expressing confidence that its approval will foster further development in Bali.
