In a ceremony held on the 18th September, 2024 at the Police Headquarters in Jalingo, Taraba State, Commissioner of Police David Oloyanomon decorated seven officers of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) who were recently promoted to various ranks.
The promoted officers include one Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) who was elevated to Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), three Chief Superintendents of Police (CSP) who became Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACP), and three Superintendents of Police (SP) who are now Chief Superintendents of Police (CSP).
Commissioner Oloyanomon congratulated the officers, stating that their promotions serve as motivation to work even harder. He expressed gratitude to the Inspector-General of Police for approving the promotions, which aligns with the IG's priority on police welfare.
The Commissioner urged the promoted officers to continue serving with diligence and integrity, upholding the good image of the Nigeria Police Force. He cautioned them against involvement in any crisis that could tarnish the Force's reputation.
