Mayo Ranewo road Crisis:(the land of fish)Neglect Fuels Exploitation, Skyrocketing Costs

 

Mayo-Ranewo is one of the ancient town located in ardo-Kola LG Taraba State,that supplies fish to the state capital (Jalingo Taraba State)on daily basis,food product,for business and daily consumption,the people of mayo-Ranewo mostly engage in fishing and farming which serves as livelihood.

Neighboring states like Adamawa state, gombe state, bauchi State,Jos pleateu state,Anambra state,enugu State,Delta State etc.are coming to buy fish in cartons and baskets,different food product in bags,as the rate of crops product is cheap in that locality.

But the deplorable state of Mayo-Ranewo road has led to unchecked exploitation by traders, exacerbating the high cost of living. Residents demand relief as essential provisions become unaffordable.

We implore the state government and the executive Governor of Taraba State Dr Agbu Kefas do something about this please
