LG Autonomy: Advisory Committee Chairman Rt Hon Abel lauded Traditional rulers for promoting peace.

 

Traditional rulers in Taraba State have been Lauded for contributing positively towards a better society. Chairman Advisory committee on Local Government Autonomy Rt Hon Abel Peter Diah made the commendation during a meeting with Traditional rulers from the Central zone in Gembu,the Administrative headquarters of Sardauna Local government area. The Chairman said over the years Traditional institutions have played critical roles in promoting peace and harmony in the society. He assured the Traditional rulers of the Kefas led administration to give them the needed priority as the state work towards the implementation of the the local government Autonomy. RT Hon Abel remarked that the government continue to Carry the Traditional rulers along in its activities to succeed in delivering dividends of democracy to the people at the grassroots. Responding the Chief of Mambilla HrH Dr Shehub Audu Baju II appreciated Governor Agbu Kefas for his foresight in hearing from the Traditional institutions as his Government work out modalities to implement the Local government Autonomy in the state. The Royal father pledged the maximum Cooperation and support of Traditional rulers from the Central zone to ensure the present government succeeds.
