Rikwensi Muri, a man who has remained in the opposition without any positional designations, has recently shown his true colors as a political opportunist and jobber. After falling out with his former principal, Senator Emmanuel Bwacha, he has resorted to attacking everything that the previous Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku did or attempted to do.
Despite his hopes of being appointed as a Commissioner or Special Adviser under the current government of Dr Agbu Kefas, Rikwensi Muri felt he has been left out in the cold. His claims of delivering Ussa to the APC seem to be nothing but a ploy to gain personal benefits, as he now seeks to negotiate with the opposition party in a bid for relevance.
A one-time Pastor who was even sacked from the Adventist church, Rikwensi Muri has now resorted to building a brand in propaganda and antagonizing Governor Kefas at every turn. His attacks on government programs and projects only serve to divide and create chaos, without any real experience or record of political engagement.
There is no gainsaying, Muri has an insatiable lust and desperation for political relevance and recently he flaunt his pseudo-patriotism in trying to undermine Government's approach to the issue of rotation of the Ukwe stool. His spokenanship is still a ploy to score cheap points and also for financial gains from financiers with all the elements of cowardice. Minions and midgets don't need publicity like he seeks. Taraba must be one.
It is clear that Rikwensi Muri is nothing but a political opportunist, willing to stoop to any level to gain cheap relevance. His actions only serve to sow discord and hinder progress in our state. It is time to see him for what he truly is - a foe to the people of Taraba state. Say no to Rikwensi Muri's divisive tactics, antics and questionable motives. Stand with Governor Kefas for a brighter future for all.
