Muslim Council Condemns Attack On Boys Brigade members, Urges Tarabans To Live In Peace

The Muslim Council of Taraba state has strongly Condemned the unfortunate incidence that happened

around Ruby Peculiar College area, specifically under the donga bridge on 17th

march, 2024, as group of some miscreants under the guise of

fasting attacked the christian boys brigade who were on

peaceful rally around the area.

 

This was  contained in a press release signed by the Chairman 

The Muslim Council of Taraba state Ustaz Bashir Modibbo Hamman Adama  dated 19th March 2024. 

The chairman pointed out that fasting period is

a sober period that requires muslim’s total commitment to

the tenets of islam, as such, no any good muslim can commit

such an act, causing breach of peace in the society.

He called on the authorities concerned to fish out the culprits

and appropriate punishment meted on them to serve as

deterent to others.

the chairman also called on all muslims and christians to live

in peace with one another, and be brothers keepers, and pray

for peace and progress of Taraba State.
