GOVERNMENT HOUSE, JALINGO, GOVERNOR'S LODGE, ASOKORO ABUJA RECEIVING KEFAS TOUCHES

One of the outstanding gestures of the Governor of Taraba State, Dr. Agbu Kefas is that since his emergence, he has continued to reconstruct and remodel some structures he met on the ground to standards and befitting outlook. Currently, he is changing the face of Taraba State Government House Jalingogo, with several reconstruction and construction works ongoing which are visible for all to see. 

At the government house Jalingo, Dr Agbu Kefas is doing a lot including the remodeling of the Governor's office, construction of a new banquet hall, reconstruction of the official residence of the Governor, reconstruction of the two entrance gates to the government house, and other structures among others. 

 

Before the coming of Dr Agbu Kefas as Governor, Taraba State Government House was nothing to write home about. The structures were very old. The Governor commenced with landscaping of the premises. To those very conversant with the government house,   it is not what it used to be. The environment is changing every day befitting a Government house. 

At the Taraba State Governor's Lodge in Abuja, Popularly known as TY Danjuma House Asokoro Abuja, the story is the same with massive construction and reconstruction works ongoing. 

Before the Governor embarked on the reconstruction of the Taraba Governor's Lodge Abuja (TY Danjuma House Asokoro), the lodge was nothing to write home about compared to those of other states.

To provide a befitting official accommodation for the Governor in the FCT, Dr Agbu Kefas, swung into action by remodeling the entire lodge.

It may interest you to know that the Governor Lodge was only one story but now the Governor is building another one making it a two-storey building.

There is no doubt, that when the project is completed, Taraba Governor's Lodge will be among the best in the Asokoro area of Abuja as the project involves landscaping of the environment. 

What Tarabans need to know is that these facilities do not belong to Governor Agbu Kefas but Taraba Government. Other Governors came, met them, used them, and went away without upgrading them. We should be grateful to God for giving us a Governor who is so passionate to serve and not to accumulate wealth. He has reiterated on several occasions that he is in government to better the lots of the people and not for personal gains. He said he has no business in government if not to serve the people of Taraba State. 

In no distant time, both the Taraba State Government House Jalingo and the governor's lodge (TY DANJUMA HOUSE Asokoro ) will be a place of pride for the State, and Tarabans will be proud of their official government residence.

Apart from these projects, the Governor has embarked on several other gigantic projects such as the construction of the Kefas Ultra Modern Trade Fair Complex Jalingo, the Reconstruction of the Kefas Palliative International Market, the construction of the Kefas Ultra Modern Trailer Park, Free and compulsory primary and secondary schools and reconstruction and remodeling of schools among others.

Dr Agbu Kefas is a blessing to Taraba State.
