Schools Resumption:

Taraba Reschedules School Resumption To 11 September 2023

The Ministry of Education in Taraba State has rescheduled school resumption in the State to 11 September 2023. Education officials had earlier scheduled the school resumption for 4 September 2023. 

 But in a latest development, an official statement from the Taraba State Ministry of Education announced a delay in the resumption of schools. The directive issued by the Director of Quality Assurance Services on behalf of the Permanent Secretary, informs all headteachers, principals, and proprietors of private schools in Taraba State that the previous resumption date of 4 September 2023 has been rescheduled to 11 September 2023.

Education officials said the decision to shift the resumption date has been informed by a burning desire to ensure proper preparations and arrangements for the upcoming academic session.

Additionally, students who are part of exchange programmes would have a slightly adjusted resumption date. Instead of 11 September, they are now expected to resume on 17 September 2023.

All stakeholders have been urged to take note of the change in the academic calendar and make the

necessary adjustments to their plans accordingly.
