Hon. Gideon Samuel Nonso Leads Crucial Assessment of Digital Economy Training Centers in Taraba State



On the 31st of August 2023, Hon. Gideon Samuel Nonso, the commissioner of digital economy and innovation, led a supervisory visit to evaluate the operational status of the Digital Economy Training Centers within Taraba State. Accompanied by Mr. Ibrahim Dauda, the Managing Director/CEO of Mega C-Tech, and comrade Mary Jonathan Tijos, the D F, this inspection aimed to ensure the effective functioning of these vital educational hubs.


Several key computer centers were inspected during this visit, including the Peacock College of Education, the Digital Computer Center along Assembly of God Church on Donga Road, and the Federal Ministry of Science, Technology Incubation Center in Jalingo. These centers serve as essential platforms for digital education and skills advancement among the residents of Taraba State. The importance of these centers operating seamlessly and creating an optimal learning atmosphere cannot be overstated.


The visit paved way for the impending Taraba State Transformation Program set to launch in the near future. This visionary initiative is designed to propel the state towards newfound levels of growth and prosperity.
