Taraba Chief Judge announces Easter Vacation to High Courts

 

Justice Joel Filibus Agya, Chief Judge of Taraba State has announced  the 2025 Easter vacation to the state High Courts commencing from Monday April 21,  to Sunday April 27, 2025.

This is contain in  a  Legal Notice No 2, 2025, signed by  Justice Agya on Thursday and made available to newsmen in Jalingo.

He stated  that  the Taraba State Legal Notice No. 2 of the state High Court of Justice 2025 was  inline with the Taraba State High Court Civil Procedure Rules of 2011.

It further stated thus;

“Whearas it is provided Under Order 8 Rule 4 (C) of the Taraba State High Court Civil Procedure Rules 2011.

“That the sitting of the High Court for the dispatch of cases shall be held on every weekday except during the week beginning with Easter Monday.

“ Now therefore, it is hereby directed for general information that there shall be an Easter vacation of the High Court throughout the state commencing from Monday April 21 2025 to Sunday April 27,  2025," he stated.
