Olayinka Gabriel Motunrayo, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SUM TV, has expressed profound appreciation to all individuals and groups who contributed to the success of the commissioning event for SUM TV held yesterday in Jalingo,Taraba state.
In a heartfelt statement, Motunrayo conveyed his deep gratitude to the distinguished guests and stakeholders whose support played a pivotal role in the realization of the event.
“I am deeply thankful to His Excellency, Dr. Agbu Kefas, for his unwavering support, encouragement, and belief in this project from its inception,” said Motunrayo.
“His continued advocacy has been an invaluable pillar as we embark on this exciting journey with SUM TV.”
Motunrayo also offered special thanks to Barrister Zainab Usman Jalingo, who has been a passionate and consistent advocate for the project since its earliest stages.
“Her generous support and commitment to the cause have been vital to our progress,” he acknowledged.
Further expressing his appreciation, Motunrayo highlighted the presence of several high-ranking government officials at the commissioning event.
Notable among them were Dr. Augustina Godwin, the Commissioner for Basic Education; Hon. Gideon Nonso, the Commissioner for Digital Economy and Innovation; and Hon. Muslim, the Commissioner for Science and Technology.
The CEO acknowledged their participation as a testament to the shared vision of advancing the media landscape in the region.
“I am particularly honored by the presence of His Royal Highness, the Chief of Mummy Ado Mazang, along with my mentors and father, who traveled all the way from Abuja to attend the event,” Motunrayo remarked.
“Their support serves as a reminder of the importance of community and mentorship in driving forward meaningful initiatives.”
In addition, Motunrayo expressed gratitude to the following dignitaries for their unwavering support: Hon. Rebo Usman Ehwan, former Chief of Staff; Brigadier General Aliyu Faransa (RTD), Chairman of the Board of Internal Revenue; Hon. Evag Philip Munlip; Mr. Yusuf Sanda, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor; Dr. E. Audu, Executive Secretary of SEMA; along with various special advisers, senior special assistants, and special assistants who made time to attend.
Motunrayo extended his thanks to all those who sent representatives in lieu of attending personally, including the Chairman of Jalingo Local Government, who was represented by his Vice; the Chairman of the PDP delegation; Chief Irimiya Ezekiel Afikuyo, represented by a director from Keararafa TV; and Commandant 6 Bridge, represented by Captain Oni.
