Hon. Anas Commends Troops at Andamin FOB, Applauds Governor Kefas Leadership for Ongoing Security Efforts.

 






In a show of solidarity and appreciation, Hon. Anas Shuibu Didango paid a visit to the Forward Operating Base (FOB) in Andamin today, where he met with dedicated military personnel actively engaged in the fight against banditry in the region.


Hon. Didango expressed his deep gratitude to the head of FOB operations, Lieutenant Colonel D. Otobo, and all the brave troops stationed in the area. He praised their relentless efforts in restoring peace and security, allowing local communities to begin rebuilding their lives.


“Our troops are the true heroes on the frontlines, working day and night to ensure that our people can live without fear,” Hon. Didango stated during his visit.


He also extended a heartfelt thank you to His Excellency Dr. Agbu Kefas, Governor of Taraba State, for his consistent and unwavering support in matters of security. Hon. Didango acknowledged the Governor’s swift response and commitment to ensuring that peace returns to the region.


Additionally, he recognized the leadership of Brigade Commandant, Brigadier General K.C. Uwa, for his steadfast role in coordinating efforts to safeguard Taraba’s communities.


“Together—with the dedication of our armed forces, the guidance of our leaders, and the unity of our people—we are making meaningful strides toward a secure and prosperous future,” Hon. Didango affirmed.


The visit underscores a continued commitment to collaborative security efforts and the ongoing development of safer communities across Taraba State.
