THE EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN TARABA STATE INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE RAISES CONCERN OVER REVENUE COLLECTION AT NAMNAI COLLAPSE BRIDGE.




The Chairman Special Taskforce on Environmental Protection, Public Safety and Prohibition of Deforestation who double as Executive Chairman Taraba State Internal Revenue Service TIRS retired Brigadier General Jeremiah Aliyu Faransa has raised serious concerns over revenue collected at the collapse Namnai bridge in Ardo Kola Local Government Area.


He stated this while addressing one Alh. Hamza Garba, an unauthorized revenue agent and mammoth crowth at the Namnai collapse bridge on a routine patrol covering both the activities of special taskforce and internal revenue in the state.


The retired general said it has become imperative for genuine due process to be followed as far as revenue matters are concerned in the state.


Faransa emphasized that revenue collections will not be left porous in the hands of sabotage  who have no regard for state growth, warning that laws must be followed in any matter of revenue.


The Chairman reiterated commitment to supporting Governor Agbu Kefas administration's desires of moving forward Taraba State.
