TARABA PDP CHAIRMAN EMPHASIZES PARTY LOYALTY AND UNITY.

The State PDP Chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Bawa today received a thank-you visit from Hon. Solomon Dominic, the newly inaugurated North-East Zonal Financial Secretary, alongside other PDP stakeholders from Jalingo.

The delegation expressed gratitude to the party for selecting one of their own to represent the party at the zonal level.

Mallam Shehu Kopis commended Bawa for establishing a reconciliation committee, which some of her recommendations were successfully implemented, including engaging party faithfuls through political appointments.

The delegation requested support for some Jalingo stakeholders battling illnesses, including Alhaji Sule Labaran, Alhaji Bunu Bashir and Hon. Husseini Umar.

In response, Bawa emphasized the importance of party loyalty and announced plans to create a template outlining stakeholders' hierarchies within the party.

Bawa noted that Council Chairmen cannot automatically be considered heads of stakeholders when other party leaders are present.

He cited the example of Sardauna Local Government, where he relinquished leadership to Chief Barr. Gebon Timothy Kataps, a former party chairman in the North-East.

Bawa highlighted the significance of respecting party leaders and urged PDP faithfuls to adopt the party's guiding principles, respecting leaders and elders to achieve unity.

Citing the pioneer chairman of PDP in Taraba State, Alhaji Abdulrazaq Musa, who hails from Jalingo and should naturally become the chairman of PDP stakeholders in Jalingo.
