Today, the Executive Director, Bureau Of Public Enterprises, BPE, Sir Michael Magaji was received by His Royal Majesty, Itse Uten, Rimamnyang Habu Ahmadu ll, the Ukwe Takum in his temporary palace in Takum. In the course of their deliberation, Sir. Magaji pay a special tribute to an extraordinary father of the land (Takum) and statesman who has made enormous contributions to sustain peace and unity in Takum and its environ, and whose life for the past years is woven deeply into the fabric of Takum's history.
Providence has constantly thrust Ukwe Rimamnyang to the forefront at critical junctures in Takum traditional history.
He's serving our land meritoriously, as a King of the land, he has been implementing critical policies and reforms, making important decisions that profoundly is impacting the lives of many. As the Ukwe Takum, he constantly demonstrates a selfless commitment to unity, peace, tranquility and progress of the land.
Only a few will deny that the Ukwe Takum continues to wield considerable influence among people at home and he is well regarded abroad and he is an ambassador of peace. His tireless efforts in conflict resolution, advocacy for good governance, and dedication to Pan-Africanism are testament to his statesmanship.
Sir. Magaji assured the Ukwe Takum of his full support to facilitate projects to Takum. He also committed to engaging with the Government to ensure smooth implementation of all federal government projects in Takum, including its surrounding. "I will align with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope agenda, to side some projects in our area".
Sir. Magaji further announced that he is currently developing a Political strategy, which will undergo a stakeholder review before its official public release.
Ukwe Rimamnyang in his response, thanks his August visitors for the honour done to him and the Takum Traditional Throne, he prayed for long life and success in all his endeavours.
Sir. Magaji and his entourage comprising Chris Magaji, Caleb Timothy and others expressed gratitude for Ukwe Takum support and collaboration in advancing our unity and togetherness.
