In the light of the foregoing, the Taraba State Government, in collaboration with the World Bank (Impact), has launched an innovative initiative to revolutionize healthcare delivery in the state. The program involves the distribution of 168 laptops to all primary healthcare centers across Taraba State. This milestone event took place at the Taraba State Healthcare Development Agency Secretariat in Jalingo, Taraba State.
According to Dr. Tukura Nuhu, Executive Secretary of the Taraba State Primary Health Care Development Agency, the state is poised to reposition primary healthcare, and the laptop distribution initiative is a significant step towards achieving this goal ¹. Dr. Nuhu expressed gratitude to the administration of Dr. Agbu Kefas for its unwavering support, which has enabled the agency to carry out its activities efficiently.

Through the Impact project, contractors will provide solar power of facilities, ensuring a reliable and sustainable energy source for primary healthcare centers. Each facility has been given specific targets to achieve, further emphasizing the state's commitment to improving healthcare outcomes.
