Taraba Govt To Construct, Rehabilitate More Schools

 

The Taraba State Government has revealed plans to construct and rehabilitate more public schools across the state.

The Taraba State Commissioner of Basic and Secondary Education, Dr Augustina Godwin made revelation in an interview with our Correspondent in Jalingo.

The Commissioner said the Ministry has already received the architectural designs of public schools across the state with a view to given them a befitting look as well as ensure conducive teaching and learning environment for both the students and teachers.

She reaffirmed the commitment of the Ministry towards ensuring the implementation of Governor Agbu Kefas’educational reforms to achieve the desired objectives.

She called on teachers, parents, students and other stakeholders in the education sector to continue to accord the Governor the required support to enable him succeed in the task of steering the affairs of the state.

Dr Augustina Godwin disclosed that plans are under to rehabilitate the Education Resource Centre in Jalingo which she said will go along way in improving the standard of education in the state.
