POWER SUPPLY: Taraba Speaker's intervention restores power supply in Zing Communities.

Four Months of Blackouts at Ungwan Fada of Zing Local Government Area have been put to rest with the installation of a brand-new transformer.

This development was made possible through the Member Representing Zing Constituency at the Taraba State House of Assembly, the Speaker RT Hon John Kizito Bonzena, who has received commendation from all quarters.

The Chairman of Zing Local Government Council, Hon. Davoro Titus Gwandis JP, was also praised for supporting the development of the community.

An indigene of the Zing local government area, Hon Felix Pascal Pulevo, in his social media post praising the Speaker for his support to ensure the community enjoys electricity supply after its absence for four months.

He (Hon Felix Pascal Pulevo) was quoted, "We also shouted up Nepal today. After over four months, the people of Anguwan fada, NEPA, Kagong, and some parts of Lafiya joined other Zing inhabitants to shout a resounding Up Nepal, which lasted for over ten minutes during its test running supply.

" Our unreserved appreciation to the Speaker RT Hon John Kizito Bonzena, Chairman of Zing local government Council Hon Davoro Titus Gwandis for the support towards ensuring we have lights" his post added.

Hon Felix Pulevo lauded the staff of Yola Electricity Distribution Company, YEDC and the youths of the area for  their efforts leading to the peaceful restoration of the power supply.

Findings by the Jalingo Times

showed that four months before today ,there was no power supply in Ungwan Fada, Kagong, Lafiya and NEPA following the spoilage of the line transformer in the area.
