Hon. Dr. Aminu Jauro Hassan, Executive Chairman of Jalingo LGC, ALGON Chairman of Taraba State, and National ALGON Welfare Officer, met with Brig-Gen Jeremiah Aliyu Faransa (Rtd), Chairman of the Taraba State Board of Internal Revenue, to discuss strategies for enhancing local and State government revenue generation.
The meeting aimed to explore opportunities for collaboration, coordination and partnership between the duo, to improve revenue collection, streamline tax administration, and promote economic growth & development in Taraba State.
As the Chairman of ALGON, Hon. Dr. Hassan's efforts to collaborate with his colleagues in order to strengthen local government revenue base are crucial for delivering essential services. This meeting demonstrates their commitment to fostering partnership and innovative solutions to address the revenue challenges facing local governments in Taraba State, in line with his excellency moving forward agenda for the benefit of our people.
