In the spirit of the festive season, Hon. Sadiq Abbas Tafida, Member Representing Jalingo/Yorro/Zing Federal Constituency, has distributed trailer loads of rice to his constituents as part of his ongoing commitment to bring joy and relief during Christmas celebrations.

 This was disclosed in a statement signed by Ibrahim Gaddafi Tanko, Special Assistant on Media to the Honorable Member.

The distribution exercise, which is currently ongoing, aims to ensure that families across the constituency can celebrate the festive season with ease and happiness. The rice is being distributed across the three local government areas—Jalingo, Yorro, and Zing—with Jalingo serving as the central distribution point to ensure seamless coordination and accessibility.

Hon. Tafida’s gesture is a demonstration of his dedication to addressing the economic challenges faced by his constituents, particularly during periods of high financial demand such as the festive season.

This initiative is not the first of its kind. Previously, Hon. Tafida provided free transportation for constituents traveling from Abuja to Jalingo and extended similar support to students commuting from Wukari to Jalingo. These efforts reflect his unwavering commitment to the welfare and well-being of his people.
