NEW COMMISSIONER OF POLICE ASSUMES DUTY IN TARABA STATE

 



Mr. Ukachi P. Opara has taken over as the 29th Commissioner of Police in Taraba State. A statement from the Police Public Relations Officer, Superintendent of Police Abdullahi Usman, confirmed Opara's assumption of duty. The new Commissioner hails from Uzoagba town in Imo State and holds a Bachelor of Law degree from Abia State University and a Master's degree in Law from the University of Jos.


With a wealth of experience spanning over two decades, CP Opara has served in various capacities, including Personal Assistant to the Inspector General of Police and Area Commander in Aba, Abia State, and Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. He has also attended several professional courses locally and internationally. CP Opara has assured the people of Taraba State that the Command under his leadership will remain committed to tackling all forms of crimes and boosting public safety and security. He is happily married with children.
