IPAC Taraba State Chapter Elects and Swears in New Executive Committee

 

The Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) of Taraba State has elected Mr. Kuriya T. Auta as chairman, alongside other members of the executive council.

The National Chairman, who was not the returning officer of the election, commended the council for maintaining peace, unity, and progress within the union. He further praised the administration of Dr. Agbu Kefas, stating that under his leadership, Taraba State has progressed significantly within a year.

Mr. Kuriya was elected and sworn in as the chairman of IPAC, with Alh. Abubakar Sa'as Hassan as Deputy Chairman, Hamman Muhammad as Treasurer, Kabiru Bala as Assistant Secretary, Sa'edu Bello Danejo as Legal Adviser, Bako Jonah as Secretary, Bello Adamu Baji as Financial Secretary, Appolus Jeda as Organizing Secretary, and Mustapha Hamman as Public Relations Officer.

Four of the contestants graciously stepped down to affirm unity within the council.

IPAC Chairman, Mr. Kuriya, thanked the National Council for ensuring the success of the election and expressed gratitude to Governor Dr. Agbu Kefas for sponsoring the entire electoral process.

The executive committee unanimously passed a vote of confidence in His Excellency Dr. Agbu Kefas and assured him of their full support.

Dignitaries present included Hon. Zakari Ismail Dangote, Chairman of Ardo Kola.
