I AM NOT AGAINST STATE POLICE - Gov Agbu Kefas

The Governor of Taraba State Dr Agbu Kefas has said that he is not against the establishment of a state police as being speculated in a section of the media.

The Governor stated 

this in an interview with Journalists in Jalingo the state capital. 

He cleared the air on the report claiming he is against the formation of State Police 

According to him, he is never against the State Police as it is for the protection of life and properties of the people.

In his words, "I am not saying I am against state police. What I am saying is that it does not make any difference to me. I am here to ensure the safety of the lives and properties of my people. That is my duty as a Governor". 

"If they decided okay we should have a state police, I will use them for the benefit of the people. If not I can make use of what I have to safeguard my people" he added.
