The Committee for the Screening and Payment of Gratuity to retired and deceased staff and teachers of Local Government Areas (LGAs) is set to begin their assignment, as announced in a press release signed by Mr. Yoila Joshua Zando, the Committee's Secretary.
According to the press release, screenings and payments will be conducted for individuals who received their letters of approval and affidavit in 2010 and 2011. The committee has organized the screening schedule by zones:
CENTRAL ZONE: (Bali, Gashaka, Gassol, Kurmi and Sarduana) from Wednesday 26th to 29th June, 2024 at Bali LGA, 10:00am daily.
SOUTHERN ZONE: (Donga, Ibi, Takum, Ussa and Wukari) from Monday 1st July to Thursday 4th July, 2024 at Wukari LGA, 10:00am daily.
NORTHERN ZONE: (Ardo-kola, Jalingo, Karim Lamido, Lau, Yorro and Zing) from Friday 5th July to Thursday 11th July, 2024 at Jalingo LGA,10:00am daily.
All potential beneficiaries or their next of kin are required to appear before the Committee with specific documents, including a Letter of Approval from Local Govt Staff Pension Board and a National Identity Number (NIN). Inquiries can be made by contacting 0816 010 7448.
