Storms: Gov Kefas donates relief materials worth 50 million naira. *To restore 32 poles

 

The Taraba state Governor Dr. Agbu Kefas on Thursday donated  relief materials, food, and non food items to the Takum rainstorm victims. 

This is in fulfillment of the promise he made when he visited the site of the disaster on Wednesday. 

Many victims were attended to with the committee vowing to reach everyone with the governor's package. 

In addition, 32 poles would be re erected to aid the quick restoration of power.

The committee disclosed that over 255 households were affected by the rainstorm. Local council officials were involved in the distribution of relief materials for effectiveness. 

It would be recalled that a heavy downpour had destroyed many houses on Tuesday with some residents rendered homeless.
