Taraba State Government in collaboration with Zip ware housing Limited have concluded plans to register genuine farmers in the State.
Commissioner of Agriculture and Food Security Professor Nicholas Namessan Oliver disclosed this during an interface with newsmen in Jalingo.
He said the exercise is dear to the heart of the governor who is poised to help farmers to boost yields.
Professor Nicholas Namessan Oliver posited that the team will move to all the local government areas of the state,wards and villages.
The Commissioner solicited support of all Tarabans to enable the team tasked with the responsibility to do a thorough job.
He also called on farmers to ensure that they register their farms to benefit from government agric support.
Professor Nicholas Namessan Oliver mentioned the areas of intervention to include provision of tractors, fertilizers, chemicals and others.
On her part, General Manager of the Zip ware housing limited Uchena Eshareturi pledged to work closely with the ministry of Agriculture and food Security to meticulously carry out the assignment.
She pledged to be transparent in carrying out the assignment.
