GOV AGBU KEFAS INSPECTS ONGOING PROJECTS IN JALINGO By Hassan Garba




The Governor of Taraba state Dr Agbu Kefas says his administration is determined to turn around the infrastructural deficit of the state to align with his blueprint geared towards the development of the state.


The Governor while inspecting some of the ongoing projects within Jalingo the state capital on first-hand assessment stated that all hands are on deck to ensure transparency and accountability in delivering the projects. 


Governor Agbu Kefas alongside other government officials visited some ongoing projects within Jalingo the state capital.


The entourage's first pot of call is the ALGON Property, thereafter the team visited the Presidential Lodge, the College of Nursing and Midwifery, the Kefas International Palliative Market, the trailer park,  and the executive lounge of the Danbaba Suntai Airport. 


Other sites visited are the ongoing constructions at the College of Agriculture, Science and Technology, Kefas Ultra Modern Abattoir, the state House of Assembly, and some ongoing projects inside the government house. 


Speaking shortly after the inspection tour, the state Deputy Governor Alhaji Aminu Alkali, and the Commissioner of Information and Reorientation, Barr Zainab Usman Jalingo, briefed the press on their assessment. 


Speaking on the awaited dualization and rehabilitation road projects commencement, the state Deputy Governor stressed that all that is needed for the commencement is in the pipeline to avert stoppage. 


He insists that the state government is out to revive the infrastructure of the state to ensure that the dividends of democracy are felt by all and sundry. 


With the decision of the state government to ensure that all sectors of the state's economy get a facelift, residents are expected to give the needed support through peaceful coexistence for development to thrive.
