As a key figure in the implementation of Governor Kefas' free education policy in Taraba State, Dr. Augustina visited schools in Bali Local Government Area. Accompanied by a technical officer from TSUBEB, they toured Lallami Primary School in Kaigama ward, meeting with the Headmaster Mr. Tukur Suleiman, the SBMC chairman, the ward head, parents, and students.
Concerned by the poor condition of the school and the lack of teachers, Dr. Augustina was briefed on the urgent needs by the ward head. She assured them that Governor Kefas is informed and that data collectors are gathering information to improve decision-making.
Visiting Garin Kafinta Primary School, Dr. Augustina met with the Headmaster and teachers, learning about the challenges they face. She commended the Headmaster for his dedication and provided support to ensure the school's operation.
Dr. Augustina reaffirmed Governor Kefas' commitment to transforming the education sector in Taraba for the benefit of all children.
