Unity and peace are indispensable virtues with the potential to accomplish great things thus, attainment of goals, overcome obstacles and finding lasting solutions to complex problems.
The 2024 Bang Cultural Development Association, BCDA an annual event celebrated by the good people of Sardauna Local Govt area of Taraba State on the 1st January of every year is aim at promoting unity of purpose, peace, culture and love among the sons and daughters of Bang worldwide.
The 2024 BCDA
is practically a demonstration of unity, peace and the display of rich cultural heritage of the people of the area to the admiration of participants which many opined if given support will grow to be a national and international event in the future.
Notably, Its against this backdrop that the Secretary to Government of Taraba State Barr. GeeTee Kataps Ngwii Mambilla and other contemporaries announced the commencement of some gigantic projects to execute in the community in few days to come among which are:
1.Construction of 45km road from Gembu to Lip
2. The Governor Kefas' Gembu Electricity Project
3. Mbamnga
electrification and
4.Skill acquisition training
The aforementioned projects which will take off soon in Sardauna Local Govt area speakers at the occasion attributed to the support, unity and peaceful coexistence of the people of Sardauna LGA urging them to maintain status quo as well create environments where everyone has equal opportunities, access to education and healthcare, and a chance to thrive.
It was a beautiful sight to behold the presence of different cultural groups from the Mambilla Plateau, men and women of timber and calibers within and outside the state, top government functionaries made their way to Bang to see for themselves the power of Unity and Peace.
Ultimately, unity and peace have the power to bring about positive change in all aspects of life as demonstrated by the Mambilla People through the Bang annual festival, a push from government at all level,NGOs and spirited Individuals will help uncover more hidden treasure embedded in Bang Cultural Development Association.
