The Executive Governor of Taraba State Dr. Agbu Kefas has attended a round table meeting in Abuja on the Electricity bill regulation 2023.
The Gov was represented at the event by The Commissioner for Energy and Economic Development, Hon. Engr. Naomi Tanko Agbu.
The round table on the Electricity Act 2023 was organized by the Nigeria Governors' Forum in partnership with UKNiAF at Transcorp Hilton Abuja from 25-26 October 2023.
It was an event that was much needed for the sub-national electricity market where Governors, Commissioners, and industry experts came together to brainstorm on how to get the next stage of the transitional electricity market right. It was evident to all that the sub-national electricity law served as a defining moment to help trigger economic development for States and otherwise investors in the electricity sector.
It was also worth noting from the event that the forward-thinking policies and programs set aside by the Ministry of Energy and Economic Development are in line with international practical frameworks, and are key triggers that will help grow the economy of Taraba State and take it to new heights if properly harness
