The CEO of Taraba Business School, who doubles as editor-in-chief of Taraba News, Gabriel Olayinka Jalingo, has challenged the young generation to take advantage of Technology and Social media platforms to venture into business opportunities. Mr Olayinka stated this at the second edition of Generation Next and Social Media Opportunity Conference held on 15 April 2023 at Jalingo Motel.
"Harnessing Social Media and Tech for Business Opportunity is a great opportunity that our younger generation must take advantage of. As young people, you must see problems in our society as an opportunity for business, while using every available technology to solve them," he said.
He added, "Use the social media platform to tell the world about your solution, knowing that what makes you a businessman is the fact that you have the solution to somebody's problem."
Olayinka appreciated Mr. Joel Lakene Luka for organizing and inviting him as one of the key speakers at the conference.
"Taraba is blessed with talents, and I love the energy and zeal of all the young men and women at the event.
"I felt challenged when I discovered that many young people at the event look up to me as their role model," he stated.
"We have a task to mentor the younger ones in the area of technology, while harnessing social media for a positive impact," he concluded.
