Meet Taraba's New House of Assembly

  PDP 13, APC 7,  NNPP 2, SDP 1, APGA 1


Five political parties will make up Taraba's new House of Assembly,

 with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) fielding 13 members to maintain the majority. The All Progressives Congress (APC) and New Nigerian People's Part (NNPP) come in second and third position with seven and two members respectively. Meanwhile, the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) have one member each.


PDP's winners are Hon Nuhu Akila, representing Lau;

Hon. Dr. Mike Dio Jen for Karim I; Hon. Happy Shonruba, representing Ardo Kola; Hon. John Kizito Bonzena for Zing;

Hon. Musa Abdullahi Chul for Gassol II;

Hon. Veronica Alhassan for Bali I;

Hon. Hamman-Adama Abdullahi, representing Bali II;

Hon. Nelson C. Len for Nguroje;

Hon. Dr. Tafarki Agbadu Eneme for Kurmi; Hon Abubakar Tanko for Takum I;

Hon John Lamba of Takum II; Hon. Jethro Yakubu for Wukari I; and Hon. Josiah Yaro Angye, representing Wukari II.


APC's seven members  are Hon. Uba Usman Maigari, representing Jalingo II; Hon. Musa Abdullahi Abubakar for Gassol I; Hon. Abdulazeez Titong for Gembu; Hon. Abel Peter Diah for Mbanmga; Hon. Batulu Mohammad, representing Gashaka;

Hon. Urenyang Rikupki Joshua for Ussa; and Hon Dinkomiya Bilbonga for Donga;


NNPP's two members are Hon. Umar Adamu Sarki, representing Jalingo I, and Hon. Barr. Zakari Sanusi for Ibbi.


Whereas Hon Joseph Kassong Kannon is SDP's member in Yorro, Hon. Anas Shauibu Didango represents APGA in Karim 2.
