Believers Young Entrepreneurs Masterclass Donates Industrial Sewing Machine to Boost Youth Empowerment in Taraba

The importance of leveraging education and resources to positively impact society has again been stressed.

This was brought to the fore during an industrial sewing machine donation ceremony to Berrylin couture by the Believers Young Entrepreneurs Masterclass BYEM in Jalingo.

Speaking during the symbolic handover, the founder and sponsor of BYEM, Professor Jerome Nyameh, the People's Professor emphasized the foundation's commitment to social impact through business education and support.

He noted that BYEM's core mission is to equip youth with entrepreneurial skills, particularly in practical and high-demand areas like fashion design.

The people's Professor said the donation marks the beginning of a strategic partnership between BYEM and other entrepreneurs in the State aimed at expanding access to skill training and development.

He added that to support the initiative, the beneficiary is to train sixteen young people across the state in tailoring using the new industrial machine and other resources.

Professor Jerome Nyameh encouraged the recipient and her trainees to maximize the opportunity by staying committed and goal-driven, noting that dedication would justify the support they have received as the BYEM team will constantly monitor their progress.

In his goodwill message, Reverend Philip Micah Doppa underscored the value of contributing to society, stating that “the purpose of our existence is to add value to our society.”

The Reverend Philip Micah Doppa who supported with some cash gifts praised the donation and encouraged all stakeholders to keep the momentum of empowerment efforts alive.

Receiving the equipment, Priscilla Ibrahim Keto, CEO of Berrylin Couture, expressed deep appreciation for the donation.

She disclosed that this was the first industrial machine in her establishment and pledged to use it efficiently to benefit both her business and the wider community.

“I am committed to using this opportunity to train more youths and empower them with the right skills,” she said.

Some of the trainees who spoke shared their gratitude and expressed their readiness to learn and contribute meaningfully to the society through their acquired skills.

They described the opportunity as a life-changing experience that would prepare them for a self-reliant future.
