The Taraba State Judicial Service Commission, JSC has recommended to the National Judicial Council, NJC Abuja for the appointment of a High Court Judge and two Khadis for the Taraba State Sharia Court of Appeal.
These recommendations were part of the decisions reached at the 123rd Meeting of the Taraba State Judicial Service Commission held on Friday, 11th April 2025 in Jalingo.
According to a Statement signed by Barr Talatu Abubakar Jen, the Meeting was chaired by the Taraba State Chief Judge, Justice Joel Filibus Agya.
The Meeting also gave approval for the demotion of two drivers, Mr Ibrahim Danjarimi and Danladi Bako.
According to the Statement, the two drivers were demoted for abandoning their duty posts without lawful excuse and other acts inconsistent with their terms of employment.
Mr Ibrahim Danjarimi was demoted from Grade Level 8 to Grade Level 6 while Mr Danladi Bako was demoted from Grade Level 7 to Grade Level 5
