SECRETARY TO THE GOVERNMENT OF TARABA STATE (SGS) CHIEF, BARR. GEBON TIMOTHY KATAPS RECEIVES SURPRISE BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION FROM STAFF

 

The Secretary to the Government of Taraba State (SGS), Chief Barrister Gebon Timothy Kataps, was today treated to a heartwarming surprise birthday celebration organized by the dedicated staff of his office. The event took place during a brief window of time which the SGS had carved out to attend to critical files requiring his urgent attention, despite his tight schedule packed with activities towards the visit of the First Lady of the Nation, Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, to Taraba State.

In what turned out to be an emotional and cheerful moment, the SGS—accompanied by top government functionaries including the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, the State PDP Chairman, the Head of Service, and the Honourable Commissioner for Digital Economy—was visibly overwhelmed with joy and surprise.

Speaking at the brief ceremony, the SGS expressed profound gratitude to the staff for their thoughtful gesture. He noted that the surprise celebration was not only touching but also a reflection of the harmonious and supportive working relationship that exists within the office.

While addressing the gathering he seized the moment to shower praises on his principal, the Executive Governor of Taraba State, His Excellency Dr. Agbu Kefas, commending him for his visionary leadership and quality developmental strides in the state. He described the governor’s transformative agenda as inspiring. 

The highlight of the brief celebration was the cutting of cake and singing of birthday songs, goodwill messages, and a warm atmosphere of camaraderie.
