On this day, 3rd April 2025, Chief Barr. Gebon Timothy Kataps, chairman board of Directors and management of Mambila Beverages Nig. Ltd conducts its 19th Board Meeting at the conference room of the secretary of the government of Taraba state office.
The meeting concentrated on enhancing the company's production capacity and reinforcing its position as a global industry leader, consistent with Governor Dr. Agbu Kefas' Moving Forward agenda.
The Board Chairman praised Governor Dr. Agbu Kefas for his steadfast commitment, particularly in facilitating the acquisition of new machinery and essential inputs to augment production efficiency and satisfy market demand.
He encouraged management to optimize these investments and drive sustainable growth. Following exhaustive deliberations, the Board resolved to collaborate with relevant authorities to combat tea theft and adulteration effectively. It reaffirmed its dedication to a strategic profit-generation initiative.
A notable aspect of the meeting was the presentation of awards to the immediate past Managing Director, Dr. Timothy Fyanya—now the Special Adviser on Mambila Beverages—and His Royal Highness Usman Samari, the Mbondua of Kamkam Chiefdom, in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the company's growth.
