PENSION BOARD REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO EFFECTIVE SERVICE DELIVERY

 


Jalingo, Taraba State – Members of the Taraba State Pension Board have reaffirmed their commitment to executing their responsibilities with diligence and efficiency.


The Chairman of the Board, Joshua Tabki, made this pledge during a familiarization visit to the Board’s office in Jalingo, where he expressed gratitude to Governor Agbu Kefas for the opportunity to serve. He assured that the team would work to justify the confidence the Governor has placed in them.


Tabki emphasized the significance of unity and cooperation among the Board members, underlining that these values are essential to their success. He also highlighted the Board's role in identifying challenges and formulating solutions, stressing the importance of starting strong and addressing these issues immediately.


In her remarks, the Permanent Secretary of the Board, Roseline Garba Ajiya, welcomed the newly appointed members and expressed her full support in achieving the Board's objectives. She urged the ministry staff to remain dedicated to their work, emphasizing the critical role they play in the success of the Pension Board.


Mrs. Ajiya further described the Pension Board as the backbone of government support for retirees, noting it is a symbol of hope for individuals in their retirement years. She encouraged retirees to complete necessary processes promptly after retirement, reassuring them that the Board is committed to meeting their needs across the state.
