The Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Taraba State Wing, has expressed its sincere appreciation to Governor Agbu Kefas for his unwavering dedication to advancing education in the state.
This commendation follows the Governor’s official flag-off of the construction of 60 new schools across all 16 local government areas in Taraba State.
In a statement, NUT Chairman Nathan Solomon praised the initiative, calling it a landmark achievement that will significantly improve access to quality education for children in the state.
He emphasized that the project aligns with Governor Kefas’s broader vision for educational reform, which has already seen significant progress since his tenure began.
“This bold step by Governor Kefas underscores his genuine commitment to education and to securing a better future for our children,” Solomon said.
“The construction of these schools will not only provide a conducive learning environment but will also create employment opportunities for teachers and other education sector workers.”
The union also recognized Governor Kefas’s previous efforts to enhance the education sector, including the provision of learning materials and the introduction of innovative policies aimed at improving educational standards.
