BISHOP EMMANUEL ANDE VISITS MAC BRIGHT UMCN CHURCH JALINGO.

 



The United Methodist Church Nigeria received Bishop Emmanuel Ande the Bishop of Nigeria episcopal Area for the first time after being elected UMCN Bishop in an auspicious church service which took place at the church temporary side in Mayo Gwoi Jalingo Bishop Emmanuel visit to Mac Bright aimed to unite the UMCN body. At the church service included songs of praise to God this visit gladden the members and the entire leaders. 


At the church service Bishop Emmanuel in his address appreciated Mac bright church he encouraged them to stand firm in the faith he added the Mac Bright church is a major  church that UMCN is ever proud of, He admonish the church to stay focused even In these trying moments. Bishop said "I want to take this time to debunk the misleading conceptions label again UMCN that the church accepts and practices homosexuality he started this unequivocally that UMCN doesn't practice such labeling homosexuality as unacceptable in the UMCN Body. He called on all UMCN members to join in the restructuring of the church. The Bishop further listed out five Departments for the growth and development of the Body. This department aimed at decentralizing power to each member of the church.


Rev Eli S Yakubu the dean of cabinet Nigeria episcopal Area who spoke in an interview expressed excitement drowned from the visit by the Bishop saying this is the first Sunday the Bishop visited them looking at the importance of the Mac Bright church to the UMCN he added the coming of the Bishop has strengthen and  encouraged both us and our members we are glad he Also called on the members of the UMCN to be united, and patient in this trying moments.The meeting went to a close as the members dance and celebrate.
