The Taraba State Chapter of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) paid a condolence visit to Senator Shuaibu Isa Lau, representing Taraba North, following the passing of his younger sister, Hajiya Barkatu Isa Lau. The visit was a heartfelt gesture, with Andeta'rang Irammae, the State Publicity Secretary, conveying the party's condolence message.
Siman Istifanus, the State Secretary, read a poignant message on behalf of the party, expressing their deepest sympathies. The message read: "We woke up yesterday morning to the rude shock of Hajiya Barkatu Isa Lau's passing. We extend our heartfelt condolences to you and your family. May Allah forgive her shortcomings and grant her soul Jannatul Fidausi. May Allah also grant you and your family the strength to bear her absence."
The State Secretary handed over the letter to the state PDP Chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Bawa who presented it to Senator Shuaibu Isa on behalf of the party.
In his response, Senator Shuaibu Isa thanked the party for their support during his time of bereavement. He acknowledged the party's unwavering backing throughout his journey to the Senate, describing them as the pillar behind his success.
The senator also prayed for God's reward to the state PDP Chairman and his entourage for their visit, which he considered an act of love and kindness.
