Hon. Dr. Aminu Jauro Hassan, Executive Chairman of Jalingo Local Government Council, ALGON Chairman of Taraba State, and National ALGON Welfare Officer, has announced that the construction of the Jalingo LG Women Development and Skills Acquisition Center is underway. The center aims to empower women through skill acquisition and development programs.
During a recent visit to the construction site, Hon. Dr. Hassan emphasized the importance of completing the project on time, urging the contractor to work diligently to meet the deadline. He assured the women of Jalingo Local Government that the center will be operational soon, providing them with opportunities to acquire new skills and improve their livelihoods.
The center is expected to train approximately 5,000 women annually, focusing on various skills acquisition programs. This initiative is part of the local government's efforts to promote women's empowerment and economic development in the region.
