The African International Documentary Festival Foundation (AFIDFF) and a team of engineers, headed by the Director General, Malame Mangzha, met with Barr GT Kataps, the Secretary to Taraba State Government, and Hon Joseph Titus Nagombe, the Commissioner for Heritage and Ecotourism.
The meeting, held at the Secretary's office, aimed to finalize discussions on how to kick off the Mambilla Eco Resort project while adhering to the required procedures at both the state and national levels as needed.
Recalled that, the Taraba State Government, through the Ministry of Heritage and Ecotourism, had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with AFIDFF on September 25, 2024, to construct eco-lodges and related facilities that foster sustainable tourism and environmental preservation in Tunga SGEN, Sardauna LGA, Taraba State.
This development further defines Governor Kefas Agbu's commitment to enhancing and developing the tourism sector in Taraba State to increase the state's internally generated revenue.
