The Northern Nigeria Christian Political Forum (CNNPF) in Taraba state has received 1,000 bags of 25kg rice from Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, to assist Christian communities in celebrating Christmas and the New Year.
The donation aligns with the Renew Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's APC administration, which aimed at alleviating the adverse effects of the current economic situation in the country.
During the distribution exercise at the Taraba State CAN secretariat, Jalingo Mr. Andeskebfun Joseph, the State Coordinator of the CNNPF, urged members to approach the initiative with gratitude and cooperation, ensuring a fair and smooth distribution process that aligns with Christian values and CNNPF principles.
He praised the First Lady as a compassionate and loving mother, noting that the rice would significantly ease the financial strain on recipients during the festive season.
The Coordinator also promised that the forum would implement a careful distribution strategy to benefit key Christian stakeholders across all 16 local government councils in the state, expressing heartfelt thanks to Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Bola Tinubu, for her generosity and visionary leadership.
