The Governor of Taraba State, His Excellency Dr. Agbu Kefas, has commended the Paramount Ruler of Zing, Kpanti Zing, HRH Alhaji Suleiman Ibrahim Sambo, for his dedicated efforts toward fostering peace and unity within his domain.
The commendation was made during the Governor's visit to the Royal Palace on Saturday, where he paid his respects following his arrival in Zing to attend the recently concluded combined Convocation ceremony of the College of Education Zing.
Governor Kefas expressed gratitude to the Royal Father for his role in ensuring a safe and secure environment that enables residents to engage in their daily activities without concern. He emphasized that his administration remains committed to providing the necessary support to the traditional ruler in his ongoing initiatives to maintain security in the region.
In response, Kpanti Zing, HRH Alhaji Suleiman Ibrahim Sambo, expressed his appreciation for the Governor's visit and reaffirmed his commitment to the peace-building efforts of the Kefas-led administration.
The visit to the Royal Father was attended by notable figures, including former Governor Rev. Jolly Nyame, the Speaker of the Taraba State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. John Kizito Bonzena, the state PDP Chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Bawa, as well as several traditional rulers and high-ranking government officials.
