Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State has been hailed as a promise keeper by Barrister Zainab Usman Jalingo, the Commissioner for Information and Orientation. This endorsement comes after Governor Kefas fulfilled his promises to the people of Taraba, despite claims to the contrary. Barrister Jalingo's statement was in response to criticisms from individuals she describes as driven by petty sentiments or distractions. 

According to Barrister Jalingo, Governor Kefas' administration has been guided by his five-finger agenda, which includes Education

 Governor Kefas has implemented free education for primary and secondary levels, reducing the state's out-of-school index and reducing the state's out-of-school index and increasing enrollment by over 300%.This initiative has been complemented by infrastructure upgrades, including the reconstruction of university hostels and the reaccreditation of the state-owned university. Additionally, tertiary tuition fees have been slashed by 50%, making higher education more accessible to the people of Taraba.

Doctors' salaries have been increased, and work has resumed at nursing schools and colleges of health technology.
