The state PDP Chairman Alhaji Abubakar Bawa on the 30th October, 2024 led members of the State Working Committee of the party to the Taraba Northern Senatorial District office of the PDP on a familarisation visit
The visit which is the first of it's kind marks the beginning of his commitment towards decentralizing party leadership to the grassroot in line with the vision of the MOVING TARABA FORWARD agenda of the administration of Dr. Agbu Kefas, the Governor of Taraba State.
Introducing members of his Zonal Working Committee, the Vice Chairman of the party who is also the Zonal Chairman North, Hon. Istifanus Bitrus stated that Alhaji Abubakar Bawa is the first PDP state chairman to have visited the Zonal office since the inception of the party in 1999.
Addressing the Zonal Excos, the state PDP Chairman Alhaji Abubakar Bawa reiterated his commitment to grassroot representation in the party; thus he re-emphasizes on restoring party loyalty, discipline and supremacy.
He finally toured the entire Zonal office and it vicinity.
