The Taraba State Government has distributed science kits to orphanage homes in Jalingo, including UMCN and Alheri Orphanage, as part of its commitment to improving access to education.
During the handover ceremony, the Commissioner for Science and Technology, Hon. Muslim Aruwa, emphasized that the initiative aligns with the free education policy championed by Governor Agbu Kefas. He noted that equipping children with scientific tools is essential for fostering practical learning and preparing them for the demands of the 21st century.
Beneficiaries expressed their gratitude, stating that the science kits will significantly improve their hands-on learning experiences. They praised the government’s effort, noting that it encourages them to excel in their studies.
